How to Transform your Face-to-Face Induction to an Effective Online Induction

Our team has written a complete case study of how we created a user-focused and impactful induction for our client. It takes you through the process that we took to transform an inconsistent and costly face-to-face induction experience to eLearning.

The process revealed through the case study enables you to gain an understanding of how we were able to create a user-focused and impactful online learning solution. From managing the project to developing the solution into existence, our aim for this case study is to demonstrate how we do what we do and inspire and educate you for your own projects.

At Belvista Studios, we have been involved in numerous eLearning projects, each one providing us with insight into how to improve and perfect our process.

For this particular project we believe that we were in a position where we had gained significant insight into what worked and what didn’t and felt that the impact of the solution was something to be proud of. We believe we can add value to you by sharing the process that we took for this project through providing you with a behind-the-scenes view of how the solution was achieved.

Project Background

We partnered with a new client after being selected through a rigorous, tender process to support them in identifying the best learning outcomes for their end-users, in this case the new employees joining the organisation. A human-centred design approach was used to identify business goals, hold workshops, interview stakeholders, observe the tasks in action and get to know what needed to be trained.

Once a deep understanding of how to solve the induction problem was gained, we were able to create, test, create and test again until we generated a solution that was fit for purpose and had the impact that the client desired.

The client was thrilled with their new induction solution and were also inspired by the process that was taken to create it. Not only was the induction a success, it was also adopted for other sister organisations (hence why we want to share this process with you 😉).
